BAKE OFF RULES

The Great Queens Pantry Dessert Or Savoury Bake Off That’s Not Just For The British But Open To All Rules (TGQPDOSBOTNJFTBBOTAR)

  1. First rule of TGQPDBOTNJFTBBOTA Club? We do not talk about TGQPDOSBOTNJFTBBOTA Club.
  2. Second rule of TGQPDBOTNJFTBBOTA Club? We do NOT talk about TGQPDOSBOTNJFTBBOTA Club.
  3. All desserts or savoury snacks must be submitted by 11am on Saturday 25th October
  4. This is controversial. British people do not like the taste, the smell or the arrogance of cinnamon. We tried it and it rotted our teeth. Please, please, please refrain from using cinnamon. Sorry.
  5. To enter, email sam@thequeenspantry.coma and follow rules 6 & 7
  6. Please state whether your desserts or savoury snacks contain gluten and/or nuts. Judges vote better when they can breathe.
  7. Give your dessert or savoury snack a name. As in ‘Sticky Toffee Pudding’, or ‘Sausage Roll’. We need to know what we’re eating. Email us with your entry name.
  8. You will then be issued with a number to put on your dessert or savoury snack. This makes it easier for judges to identify and vote for your creation. FYI, we take Voter Fraud very seriously. No Russian votes will be counted.
  9. All desserts or savoury snacks must be able to be served at room temperature. Whilst an ice sculpture may look impressive, the puddle that it makes on the floor may give the impression that someone got a little over-excited. Desserts or savoury snacks can not be heated, or kept refrigerated on the day.
  10. There can be no distinguishing marks on the dessert or savoury snack to indicate that it is yours. Let the deliciousness do the talking.
  11. All customers and entrants will get 1 vote. That's called Democracy. U.S.A, U.S.A.
  12. Judging is done anonymously. Fake noses and mustaches are optional.
  13. The Winner will be announced on Sunday 26th October. Prepare a speech. The ceremony will be televised worldwide.
